Over 100 episodes of ABC TV’s A Bite to Eat with Alice, Alice Zaslavsky has posed the question familiar to every household: what are we eating tonight? 

Drawing on seven years of cooking for her own family, Zaslavsky’s latest cookbook, Weeknights with Alice, offers 80 midweek meals designed for maximum flavour with minimum fuss, distilling her approach to produce, flavour and everyday cooking into recipes made for the realities of a busy life. 

Over three courses with matched wines from Port Phillip Estate, 35 floors above Collins Street and surrounded by sweeping views of the city, Zaslavsky joins host Dani Valent to talk about the pleasures and pressures of feeding a household – and yourself.
